1. Delete Your Account from Circle

If you can access your Circle account, you can request deletion directly from within the application.

Go to:

Circle will ask you to confirm the deletion before the request is processed.

Once confirmed, the account deletion process will begin.

2. If You Cannot Access Your Account

If you cannot sign in to Circle or cannot access the account deletion feature, you can request deletion by contacting us at:

Where possible, send the request from the email address associated with your Circle account.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify that you are authorized to request deletion of the account before processing the request.

3. What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted?

When your account deletion request is processed, information associated with your Circle account may be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable law, and the technical operation of the service.

This may include:

• Your Circle profile.
• Your circle memberships.
• Your activity participation records.
• Your selected interests.
• Your join requests.
• Your invitations.
• Your notifications.
• Content associated with your account where applicable.

Activities or circles that you created may also be deleted as part of the account deletion process, depending on the current operation of the Circle service.

Some related records may also disappear where they depend on deleted activities, circles, or account information.

4. Information We May Need to Retain

Account deletion does not necessarily mean that every piece of information is removed immediately in every circumstance.

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or permitted by applicable law, including for:

• Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
• Security and fraud prevention.
• Investigating misuse or protecting the platform.
• Handling reports, complaints, or disputes.
• Establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights.
• Protecting the rights of the company or other users.
• Technical backup and recovery processes.

Information retained for these purposes will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and handled in accordance with applicable requirements.

5. How Long Does Account Deletion Take?

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days, subject to identity verification, technical requirements, and any applicable legal obligations.

Certain information may remain temporarily in technical backup systems after the primary account deletion process has been completed.

Such backup information may remain until it is removed through the applicable technical backup or retention cycle, unless longer retention is required or permitted by law.

6. Account Deletion May Be Permanent

Once your account has been deleted, you may lose access to your profile, memberships, activities, circles, discussions, experiences, and other information associated with your account.

Deleted information may not be recoverable.

If you decide to use Circle again after your account has been deleted, you may need to create a new account.

Account deletion is one way in which you may exercise rights relating to your personal data.
